Dear Grace Baptist Church Family,                                                                                                      5/23/01

Greetings from Cedarville!!  I want to express my deep appreciation for the support you have given me over the past year.  It is hard being so far away from home and my family and friends, but your letters, calls and care packages have been an encouragement to me.  I am incredibly blessed to have such a wonderful church family.  My friends here are continually amazed that my church sends me packages and that my Pastor even knows my name.  Thank you so much for the love and support you give me.

The Lord has blessed me beyond belief this year.  He has supplied my financial needs as well as teaching me so many things through His Word.  I have seen myself grow in my daily walk with Him through increased Bible study, daily chapels, involvement in ministries and strong Christian friendships.

This year I have had the opportunity to serve in many ministries on and off campus.  I am on a ministry team that goes into a local public school once a week to tutor junior high and high school students while building lasting relationships with them and sharing the Gospel.  I also had the opportunity to serve on the Freshman class chapel committee.  On this committee I assisted in developing a worship team, planning chapels and praying for our monthly class chapels.  One of the other awesome opportunities I had to minister this year was assisting with the Student Government Association chapels every Friday.  I was able to fulfill the job of multi-media coordinator for these chapels.  (a.k.a. power point girl J)  Working with upperclassman during these chapels, especially the student body chaplain and worship leader, I realized the importance of bathing everything that was done in prayer.

I am so thankful that my Pastor stressed the importance of going to a Christian college for at least a year.  My life is forever changed because of my coming to Cedarville.  I’m excited about the career in ministry that the Lord is preparing me to do.  Lord willing I will be back at Cedarville next fall for another year of seeing what the Lord will do in and through me.  Thank you again for your love and support.  I miss all of you very much!

                                                                                                                                In His Grip,
